Sasha Foote Photography
Dogs love with honesty, presence, and depth, and that’s what inspires my work. My approach to photography is calm, patient, and guided entirely by your dog, allowing them the space to be themselves.
I focus on capturing genuine moments and real connection, moving at your dog’s pace with no pressure to pose or perform. Every session is relaxed and thoughtful, creating images that reflect the soul behind the eyes and the bond you share.
These photographs are more than memories, they’re a celebration of a love that deserves to be remembered.
The Process
01.
Contact me
The first step is to get in touch whether by message, email, or phone.
From there, we’ll arrange a time and date that works best for you, and you’ll have the opportunity to share the style of images you’re dreaming of, along with the package that suits your needs.
I offer a range of carefully curated packages designed to suit a variety of budgets, making it easy to find an option that feels right for you. Each session is relaxed, personalised, and focused on creating images you’ll truly love.
-
If you’re shopping for someone else, I also offer gift vouchers in custom amounts. These are perfect for birthdays, milestones, or special occasions, allowing the recipient to put the value toward any package of their choice and book their session at a time that works for them.
02.
Meeting up
I’ll send you exact pin locations ahead of time, and if needed, I’ll give you a quick call to confirm all the finer details. We’ll go over the location together so you know exactly what to expect on the day, and I’ll share any helpful tips to prepare your pet before the session to ensure everything runs smoothly.
You’ll also receive a list of my top recommended locations, chosen for their beautiful scenery and pet-friendly accessibility. If you have a specific place in mind or would like to explore a more bespoke location, we can absolutely discuss options to find a setting that feels just right for you and your pet.
03.
Photoshoot day
When we arrive, my focus will be on your pet, especially if they’re feeling a little nervous. We’ll begin with a relaxed stroll around the location, giving them time to settle in naturally while I get to know both of you and their personality.
Throughout the walk, we’ll pause at natural photo spots and give each one a try. There’s no pressure for perfection, if something doesn’t quite work the first time, that’s absolutely fine. We’ll circle back on our return and capture it again once your pet feels more comfortable and confident.
I encourage your pet to simply be themselves. Whether they’re playful, curious, calm, or full of energy, the session is all about embracing who they are and capturing their unique personality. Those genuine, in-between moments often become the most meaningful images, telling the true story of your pet just as they are.

Delivery
After our session, I will move onto the 'culling' process, this usually takes a day or two, if I don't have existing galleries to complete. Culling is an essential and important job, I need to carefully pick out the very finest photos from our session. Of course there is always a couple of bloopers I will share with you too!
After I have culled the images you will be then sent the rough gallery, from which you pick from. These images will have light base editing done, light shadows brightened and highlights tamed. They do not ever represent the true image you'll receive. You will have a spoiler image, typically found on my social media pages, this image will represent what you will receive at the end once you have told me which images you'd like.
Finally, once I've begun editing your chosen images, you will have these returned to you within 2-3 weeks* this is not a guarantee though, some galleries can take up to 4 weeks.
